We are located at 1078 Tangowahine Valley Road, Dargaville, just 10 kms up Tangowahine Valley Road fromtheTangowahine turnoff on State Highway 14.

Car - when coming from the south, take SH12 and 14 to Dargaville then SH 14 towards Whangarei. Turn left 10 km past Dargaville into Tangowahine Valley Road. Tangowahine Farmstay is approx 10 km from the turnoff on the right hand side - look for the large cylindrical red letterbox, Tangowahine Farmstay sign and B&B sign.

Car - when coming from Whangarei, take SH 14 for approx 45 kms. Turn right into Tangowahine Valley Rd. Tangowahine Farmstay is approx 10 km from the turnoff on the right hand side - look for the large cylindrical red letterbox, Tangowahine Farmstay sign and B&B sign.

Car - from Kaikohe - follow signs to Dargaville via Murray's Road. Tangowahine Farm is approx 44 km from Kaikohe on the left hand side of Tangowahine Valley Rd.

To gain the maximum benefit from your stay in Northland we recommend you bring your own vehicle as we are very central to all Northland activities. If however you prefer a total retreat experience in our idyllic hideaway, we are happy to arrange transport to suit your requirements.

Bus - catch a bus to Dargaville and disembark in town. Contact us for a free pick-up on arrival or take a 20 min taxi ride to Tangowahine Farm. Alternatively you can catch a bus to Whangarei and contact us to arrange transport to Tangowahine.
Plane - fly into Whangarei airport. Either contact us ahead of time to arrange pickup or take a 55 km taxi ride to Tangowahine.
